The Opportunity
As Gallagher's technology footprint continues to expand, we're growing our Information Systems team to keep pace with demand and deliver solutions that make a real impact across the business. Technology delivers its greatest impact when it's deeply connected to the needs of the business - and that's where this role comes in.
As Head of Engagement & Performance, you'll be the strategic link between Digital Business Technology and the wider organisation, ensuring our technology strategy is understood, our performance is transparent, and our stakeholders remain engaged every step of the way. Acting as a trusted advisor to the CIO and a key member of the DBT leadership team, you'll help shape how technology is communicated, measured and experienced across Gallagher.
From leading executive reporting and business engagement to driving strategic planning and performance frameworks, you'll help ensure DBT operates as a trusted partner that delivers measurable value, not simply technology services.
What You’ll Do
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across Gallagher, ensuring DBT remains closely aligned to business priorities
• Lead the communication of DBT strategy, initiatives and outcomes through clear, engaging executive messaging
• Develop and evolve performance frameworks, scorecards and reporting that demonstrate business value
• Partner with the CIO to coordinate strategic planning, leadership rhythms and executive governance
• Monitor stakeholder feedback and service performance, driving continuous improvement across the function
• Oversee strategic vendor relationships, commercial engagement and governance alongside Procurement
• Lead and develop a high-performing Engagement & Performance team focused on service excellence and business partnership
• Help foster a culture of collaboration, transparency and accountability across Digital Business Technology
The Fit
You're someone who naturally builds trust and brings people together. Whether you're working with executives, technology leaders or business stakeholders, you're able to simplify complexity, create alignment and keep everyone focused on shared outcomes.
You thrive in environments where influence matters more than authority. With strong commercial awareness and exceptional communication skills, you're equally comfortable shaping strategy, challenging thinking and ensuring great ideas translate into meaningful results.
You'll bring:
• Significant experience in business relationship management, strategic engagement or senior advisory roles within a technology or digital environment
• Proven success supporting executive leaders through business planning, governance and strategic decision-making
• Experience developing performance frameworks, executive reporting and organisational scorecards
• Strong commercial acumen, including exposure to vendor management and contract governance
• The ability to influence, coordinate and drive outcomes across multiple stakeholders without direct authority
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into compelling business narratives
• A collaborative leadership style and a passion for building high-performing teams and trusted partnerships
