About the Role
We're looking for Software Engineers at Junior, Intermediate and Senior level to join our High Security team in Hamilton.
This is one role open to all levels of experience, with the scope, technical ownership and support tailored to your level. Whether you're early in your software engineering career, an experienced developer looking for your next challenge, or a senior engineer ready to take on greater technical ownership, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll contribute to the design, development and ongoing enhancement of our high-security products, used by customers around the world.
Working in a collaborative, cross-functional squad, you'll have the opportunity to work across front-end, back-end and embedded systems, solving complex technical problems and building robust, secure and high-quality software.
Security Clearance – Important Eligibility Requirement
To be considered for this role, you will be required to gain and maintain a security clearance to at least Confidential level.
To be eligible to obtain this security clearance, you must be an NZ permanent resident and have resided continuously in NZ or one of the Five Eyes countries (NZ, USA, UK, Canada or Australia) for the past 5 years.

About You
We're interested in hearing from Junior, Intermediate and Senior Software Engineers. You don't need to meet every requirement below. We're looking for strong engineering fundamentals, problem-solving ability, collaboration and a willingness to learn and grow.
C++ experience is essential. You may also bring experience in some of the following:
C# with .NET Core and SQL
Automated and unit testing
Tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
Strong written and verbal English skills
Experience working in Agile software development environments
Familiarity with cryptographic concepts such as asymmetric/symmetric cryptography, secure hashing and the role of encryption vs authentication
Ability and willingness to work on application development in other languages such as Ruby and JavaScript
For Junior Engineers, we're interested in people with a solid foundation in software engineering who are keen to build their commercial experience and develop their skills in a product engineering environment.
For Intermediate and Senior Engineers, we're looking for stronger commercial experience and, depending on level, the ability to take increasing ownership of technical design, complex engineering problems and mentoring.
