The Opportunity
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for promoting growth of Gallagher North America through daily interaction with customers via outbound calls, emails, campaigns and initiatives. Utilizing a selling approach each time we communicate with customers. Regularly scheduled outbound phone calls and emails are an integral part of the Gallagher Inside Sales mission. Attain the budgeted goals and objectives of Gallagher Annual budget.
Promote sales growth
- Meet growth requirements and yearly sales budgets for targeted customer base, including but not limited to, C & D accounts, Open Territories, Direct Consumer and Internet Sales.
- Contact should be made with each customer a min of every 45 days
- Outbound Sales calls in specific territory; with a minimum of 30 calls per day
- Additional outbound calls will be added for special events, product campaigns, initiatives Trade Shows, Spring Booking, etc.
- Prospect new dealers, government agencies, subsidies and associations
- Identify new customer potential with outbound calling as determined by sales team
- Solicit sales of new or additional products
- Increase Sales Revenue to C & D accounts by 10% annually
Customer Service
- Maintain updated and accurate contact records within the Gallagher (SAP) Customer Relationship Management software. This includes Keeping records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken
- Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
- Ensure all orders are entered by end of business day
- Return authorizations, credits and other information to be entered within 24 hours of receipt
- Check on hold orders and make sure they are released in a timely manner
- Consult with C & D customers and provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, or obtain details of complaints
- Maintain a professional demeanor and an aggressive, creative, and entrepreneurial spirit
Teamwork
- Attend and be an active participant in team meetings
- Work alongside other functional areas of the organization and external partners to achieve smooth flows of both information and material
- Back-up and/or support co-workers as time off or workloads require
- Support the goals and objectives of the Gallagher’s Senior Management Team
