The Opportunity
We're looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our Security Devices team. In this role, you'll design, prototype, test, and implement electronic solutions that bring new products to life and enhance existing technologies used by customers around the world.
Working as part of multidisciplinary project teams, you'll combine technical expertise with a practical, problem-solving mindset to deliver robust, reliable, and manufacturable electronic designs. You'll collaborate closely with manufacturing, procurement, project teams and product stakeholders to ensure solutions are developed and implemented successfully.
Your key responsibilities include:
Designing robust, cost-effective electronic circuit solutions for new and existing products
Developing prototypes and electronic circuits to a high standard and within project timeframes
Testing and validating designs to ensure performance, reliability and quality
Ensuring products meet manufacturing, electrical compliance and safety requirements
Diagnosing issues and identifying root causes of technical problems
Evaluating alternative components and assessing their suitability for use in new and existing products
Supporting the introduction of new products and design changes into manufacturing
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement product improvements and manufacturing changes
Contributing to a learning-led product development environment focused on continuous improvement and customer outcomes.
The Fit
You're a curious and capable Electronics Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working collaboratively to bring ideas to life. You combine strong technical fundamentals with a practical approach and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
What you’ll need:
A Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
Experience working effectively within a team environment
The ability to design and construct electronic circuitry
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for electronic circuits
A high level of computer literacy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
