The Opportunity
We're looking for a proactive Marketing & Events Specialist to help drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. This is a remote role, ideally suited to someone based in the Auckland or Waikato region. Combining creativity with strong organisational skills, you'll plan and deliver impactful marketing initiatives, engaging content, and high-quality events that showcase the Gallagher brand.
Working closely with sales teams, global marketing specialists, customers, channel partners, and external suppliers, you'll play a key role in creating memorable experiences and delivering marketing activities that make a real impact.
You'll be responsible for
Planning and delivering internal, customer, partner and industry events across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands
Managing event communications, registrations, sponsorships, logistics and post-event reporting
Supporting the development and execution of regional marketing plans and activities
Creating and coordinating marketing collateral and promotional campaigns
Collaborating with global and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and brand standards
Managing event and marketing budgets, tracking spend, and measuring campaign effectiveness
Supporting channel marketing initiatives and sales enablement activities
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, partners, suppliers and agencies
The Fit
You're a proactive and highly organised marketing professional who enjoys bringing campaigns, content, and events to life. With strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach, you're confident managing multiple priorities, building relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, and delivering high-quality outcomes that create lasting impact.
You'll also bring:
A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Events Management or a related field
3+ years' experience in marketing, events, communications or a similar role
Proven experience planning and delivering successful events from concept through execution
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ideally within a B2B environment
Experience working with external suppliers, agencies or event partners
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital marketing platforms
Excellent project management and organisational capabilities
A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
A growth mindset with a desire to learn, develop and contribute to team success
