The Opportunity
We're looking for a highly influential and strategically minded Strategic Delivery Lead to join our Operations Performance team.
This is a pivotal role that sits at the heart of Operations, connecting strategy, governance, prioritisation, and execution. You'll work alongside senior leaders across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations to create visibility, alignment, and momentum across the Operations portfolio.
Success in this role isn't about managing individual projects. It's about ensuring the right initiatives are prioritised, sequenced, governed, and delivered through one integrated roadmap that enables Operations to perform as a connected system.
You'll be responsible for
Leading the integrated Operations roadmap, ensuring strategic initiatives are aligned, prioritised, and sequenced effectively.
Driving cross-functional delivery alignment across Operations portfolios and leadership teams.
Identifying, managing, and resolving portfolio dependencies, risks, and competing priorities.
Facilitating governance forums and supporting high-quality decision-making across Operations.
Maintaining and evolving governance frameworks, delivery standards, and RASCI ownership models.
Providing visibility of delivery health, portfolio performance, organisational capacity, and strategic risks.
Supporting senior leaders with prioritisation decisions and resource trade-offs.
Continuously improving PMO practices, governance effectiveness, and delivery maturity.
Creating clarity in complex environments and helping leaders translate strategy into execution.
The Fit
We're looking for a strategic thinker who thrives in complexity and knows how to create alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. You'll be comfortable influencing at senior levels, facilitating difficult prioritisation conversations, and helping leaders navigate competing demands to achieve enterprise-wide outcomes. You will be a self-starter with an innovative mindset, ready to constructively drive positive outcomes for Gallagher.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Significant experience in strategic delivery, portfolio management, PMO leadership, transformation, or operations performance.
A strong track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and governance frameworks.
Experience integrating multiple workstreams into a clear and actionable delivery roadmap.
Strong executive stakeholder management and influencing skills.
The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution.
Demonstrated experience managing dependencies, risks, prioritisation, and organisational capacity.
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and decision-support capabilities.
A systems-thinking mindset with the ability to connect people, processes, and outcomes.
Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and the role may be filled before the closing date.
