The Opportunity
Join our Information Services Portfolio Management Office (IS PMO) and take ownership of delivering technically complex projects that keep our business moving.
You’ll step into projects already in motion - ranging from large-scale user, device, and regional rollouts - while also contributing to upcoming infrastructure and systems initiatives.
Working closely with sponsors, technical teams, and delivery partners, you’ll bring structure, clarity, and momentum - keeping projects on track and aligned to business priorities.
This role is primarily office-based in Hamilton, with some flexibility. Occasional after-hours work may be required to support international rollouts, with flexibility provided to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
What You’ll Be Doing
Step into a role where you’re at the centre of delivery - owning complex IS projects and turning technical plans into real outcomes for the business.
You’ll work across infrastructure, platforms, and applications, partnering with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to keep projects moving, aligned, and on track. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, building strong relationships, and seeing projects through to completion.
In this role, you will:
• Own end-to-end delivery of IS projects - on scope, on time, on budget
• Build and manage project plans, timelines, risks, and documentation
• Coordinate across infrastructure, platform, and application teams
• Facilitate technical discussions and keep delivery moving
• Keep stakeholders informed with clear, practical communication
• Lead governance, reporting, and key decision forums
• Manage vendors and delivery partners to maintain pace and quality
• Support smooth handover into BAU, including change and adoption
The Fit
You’re a hands-on Technical Project Manager who’s comfortable in complex environments and knows how to get things done. You can step into moving projects, build trust quickly, and bring people with you.
You’ll bring:
• 5+ years delivering IT / IS projects across varying complexity
• Experience with infrastructure, migrations, and/or system implementations
• Strong delivery discipline using structured project frameworks
• Enough technical depth to work confidently with engineers and specialists
• Clear, pragmatic communication - able to translate for any audience
• Solid stakeholder, vendor, and budget management skills
• A calm, organised, outcome-focused approach
Bonus points for:
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification
• Experience with device, identity, or onboarding programmes
• Exposure to multi-region or global delivery
