The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Business Development Manager based in Sydney to drive profitable growth across NSW. This specialist sales role is all about hunting new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with channel partners, end users, and industry influencers, and executing growth strategies across multiple verticals.
As part of #TeamGallagher, you will:
Drive new business: Prospect, generate leads, and close deals to expand Gallagher’s presence in key verticals
Build relationships: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with channel partners, end users, consultants, architects, and influencers
Deliver value through collaboration: Work closely with technical experts to provide system design input, tender support, and product presentations
Support channel growth: Develop and maintain partner engagement programs, training, and communication aligned with Gallagher’s global partner programme
Inform strategy: Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and feedback to support business planning and product development
Contribute to team success: Collaborate across sales, operations, and technical teams to achieve shared goals and continuous improvement
The Fit
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a strong track record in B2B sales, ideally within technology or the security industry, and a solution-selling approach that can communicate complex technical concepts with clarity.
You’ll also have:
5+ years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably in technology or security solutions
Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities
Experience working with channel partners and managing key accounts
Strong analytical skills and the ability to inform strategy with market insights
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
A collaborative, results-driven approach and the ability to operate independently
High integrity and accountability in all business dealings
