The Opportunity

With our Devices Team scaling faster than ever, the Electronics Engineer will play a central role in designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing electronic circuit solutions for Gallagher’s next-generation security products. You’ll operate in multidisciplinary project teams, working closely with firmware, mechanical, NPI, manufacturing, and procurement to take products from concept through to robust, manufacturable outcomes.

You will also:

• Ensure designs meet international compliance and safety standards

• Optimise circuits for production and performance

• Contribute to Learning First Product Development (LFPD) and continuous improvement initiatives

The Fit

You’ll thrive here if you enjoy solving complex design challenges, working closely with other disciplines, and contributing to products that have real global impact.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or similar)

• Proven experience in R&D environments

• Proficiency in circuit debugging using scopes, logic analysers, etc.

• Familiarity with PCB CAD tools and DFM/DFT practices

• Strong understanding of EMC principles and international safety compliance

• Clear communication skills and a proactive mindset

Desirable: familiarity with SAP or similar systems, and competency with circuit simulation tools
