The Opportunity

As our first Business Development Manager for eShepherd in the UK and Ireland, you’ll step into a true greenfield opportunity. You’ll have the autonomy to get out into the field, leverage your existing network (or build new ones), and establish eShepherd as a category-defining solution.
This role comes with significant scope to grow as the region develops, with potential to take on broader responsibilities and influence eShepherd’s trajectory.

Imagine being at the forefront of a technology that’s changing the way farmers manage their livestock. You’ll be the person connecting curiosity with action, turning interest into real-world results, and bringing a truly innovative solution to farms across the UK and Ireland.
Every day will be a mix of strategy, relationship-building, and hands-on problem solving — shaping not just the market, but the future of sustainable farming.
You’ll:
Drive adoption of eShepherd™ across the UK and Ireland – turning curiosity into commitment
Get hands-on in the field, building relationships with farmers, distributors and industry partners
Leverage existing networks and develop new commercial opportunities from scratch
Convert leads into long-term customers and sustainable revenue
Shape go-to-market strategies and support pilot programs
Feed market insights back into product development and customer experience
In Your First Months You’ll:
Establish eShepherd’s presence in the UK and Irish markets
Engage early adopters and champion their success stories
Help define market entry plans and build momentum
Turn pilot projects into long-term commercial partnerships
Represent eShepherd at key AgTech and industry events
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who thrives on opportunity and isn’t afraid to step into uncharted territory. You enjoy building relationships, spotting possibilities where others see challenges, and bringing innovative solutions to life. You’re equally as at home in the field with farmers as you are presenting to senior stakeholders, and you’re motivated by the chance to make a real impact across multiple countries.
To catch our interest you’ll have:
Proven experience in business development, ideally in a senior or autonomous role
Strong interest or background in AgTech, agriculture, or livestock farming
A self-starter mindset with comfort building something from the ground up
Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and working independently in the field
Fluency in English (additional languages a plus!)
Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland
A degree in Agriculture, Business, or Marketing is a plus
