The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Territory Sales Manager to lead Gallagher’s growth across Southland. You’ll be the face of Gallagher for farmers, dealers, and rural partners - building strong relationships, supporting our dealer network, and driving new business.
This is a field-based role with real autonomy: You’ll shape your own schedule - balancing time on the road meeting customers, building your pipeline, and supporting our dealer network, with time spent planning and keeping your CRM sharp.
You’ll enjoy the challenge and excitement of prospecting and new business development, while still caring for key accounts. Every week brings fresh opportunities to connect, grow, and make an impact across Southland.
The Fit
You’re a relationship builder with proven sales experience - ideally in agriculture, rural supply, or a related field. You’re mature, adaptable, and genuinely enjoy connecting with people. You know that trust and integrity matter more than a hard sell.
You’re comfortable working independently, managing your own schedule, and making decisions on the fly.
You’re digitally savvy (CRM, mobile tools) and can explain how software adds value on farm.
Experience with major rural retailers or a strong understanding of the agricultural sector is highly beneficial and will set you up for success. Just as important is your drive to learn, adapt, and grow - if you bring the right attitude and a willingness to evolve, we want to hear from you.
The ideal candidate:
- Has proven sales success (agri-sector experience is a plus!)
- Is a strategic thinker with a hunter mindset
- Communicates with ease – and can present, connect + inspire
- Has a full, clean NZ driver’s licence.
