The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Leader, with a passion for designing and coding, to join our development team within Gallagher Security. You’ll get to help shape our SaaS products and help guide the technology stack and work with other talented developers in further growing an already impressive product. You’ll be:

• Mentoring developers in cloud native development technologies, capabilities, and mindsets

• Producing high quality code which sets an example for others to follow

• Leading and producing high quality designs which allow the product to achieve the vision and goals we have for it.

The Fit

We’re looking for someone with proven experience working with cloud native products. The successful candidate will take a lead role in designing and building new SaaS applications. Our ideal candidate will also be experienced in mentoring less experienced developers, and setting precedents for others to follow, to grow the capability of the entire team. You’ll be a lifelong learner who deeply understands how to get the most out of technology stacks and knows when to make pragmatic decisions.

Some of the key skills and experience we are looking for are:

• Experience with AWS-based cloud architecture and product development (AWS services, micro-service/micro-frontend architecture, serverless etc.).

• Sound knowledge of writing applications for containerized environments, i.e. Docker, Kubernetes.

• Experience with event-driven architecture and technologies.

• Experience in both Relational and NoSQL database development.

• Proficient in deploying software via automated CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient at designing and documenting features or modules that are a part of a product or project.

• A strong understanding of security as it relates to mobile/web applications connecting to a globally available SaaS cloud platform.

• Proficient with .Net Core, C#, Web Services, REST APIs.

• Experienced in front-end technologies such as React and Blazor.

• Minimum 7 years of commercial software development experience.
