What You’ll be Doing

As a key member of our Group H&S team, you’ll:

• Champion Gallagher’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) strategy across          regions, tailoring initiatives to support local relevance and impact
• Support business units to shift from reliance on central HSE functions to confident, proactive safety leadership
• Develop regional roadmaps that guide each location in building capability, systems, and a strong safety culture
• Coach managers and supervisors to lead safety with confidence and clarity
• Lead serious incident investigations and ensure learnings are embedded
• Facilitate risk reviews and empower sites to take charge of their assurance processes
• Partner with leaders to embed HSE into everyday decision-making
• Monitor performance trends and translate data into meaningful action
• Promote psychological safety and model values-based leadership

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with:

• A relevant qualification in Health & Safety or related field
• 5+ years’ experience in H&S roles across varied jurisdictions
• Strong coaching, facilitation, and leadership development skills
• Deep knowledge of NZ and Australian H&S legislation
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders to drive change
