The Opportunity
We’re building our UK-based Technical Support team and are looking for a Junior Technical Support Engineer to join us. As part of our global support team, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for Gallagher Security customers and Channel Partners, helping troubleshoot technical challenges, provide clear guidance, and create positive support experiences. You’ll be supported by experienced engineers as you grow your product knowledge, technical confidence, and problem-solving capability.
Your role at a glance:
Respond to technical support calls and emails, providing accurate, timely, and customer-focused support with guidance from the wider team.
Troubleshoot networking, device, software, and access control-related issues using a structured approach and support from senior team members.
Record support interactions and technical resolutions clearly in CRM and knowledge base systems.
Work with regional teams, product testing, and development teams to escalate, investigate, and help resolve customer issues.
Build your knowledge of Gallagher Security products, customers, and processes through continuous learning and collaboration.
The Fit
You’re early in your technical support career and keen to keep learning. Curious, practical, and customer-focused, you enjoy working through technical problems, asking good questions, and helping customers find clear solutions. You may already have some experience in help desk, customer service, IT support, or a technical environment, and you’re ready to build your capability as part of a collaborative global team.
What you’ll bring:
A developing understanding of IT networking, devices, or technical troubleshooting.
Some experience in a help desk, customer service, IT support, or technical support environment would be helpful.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a genuine commitment to delivering great customer experiences.
A logical approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to ask questions, follow processes, and learn from others.
A team-focused approach, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support others when needed.
Knowledge of access control systems would be advantageous.
Eligibility for SC Clearance.
