We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Controller to take ownership of credit control and accounts receivable across a portfolio of Gallagher entities.
This is a varied, hands-on role with plenty of opportunity to make it your own. You’ll manage customer accounts, keep collections moving, resolve issues and help minimise credit risk - while building strong, professional relationships with customers and internal teams.
You’ll work closely with our New Zealand and offshore Finance teams, Sales Order Management and Customer Service, giving you great exposure across the wider business.

You'll be responsible for
Owning credit control, collections and debtor management across your portfolio
Managing customer receipts, reconciliations and account queries
Monitoring overdue accounts, credit limits and debt exposure
Preparing debtor reporting, cashflow forecasting and insights to support business decision-making
Assessing new customer credit applications and helping manage credit risk across the portfolio
Partnering with internal teams and customers to resolve issues
Supporting Visa reconciliations, journals and other Finance activities
Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiency
The Fit
You’re organised, commercially minded and confident having the conversations needed to keep accounts on track. You know how to build positive customer relationships while being comfortable chasing a payment when it’s due.
You’ll bring:
Experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or a similar role
Sound accounting and collections knowledge
Strong Excel and ERP experience - ideally SAP
Excellent attention to detail and organisation
Confident, professional communication skills
The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and solve problems
A positive, collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in improving how things work
