The Sales & Operations Business Analyst will partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to turn data into actionable insights that drive profitability, growth, and operational excellence. You'll lead forecasting and S&OP activities, analyze inventory and logistics performance, monitor market and customer trends, and identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency while helping Gallagher stay ahead of the competition.
Join our Kansas City team in a hybrid role that combines the energy of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Candidates should reside within the Kansas City metropolitan area and be available to work from the office as needed.
Compensation: This position offers a base salary of $70,000 - $80,000, plus a 15% incentive opportunity based on individual and company performance.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide robust commercial analysis to support the financial success of the Animal Management business.
Review business cases, contracts, and commercial arrangements, providing constructive recommendations and risk-based feedback.
Support the implementation of effective commercial practices that balance customer needs, product quality, and business profitability.
Deliver KPI and OKR reporting to support informed decision-making across Sales, Marketing, and Business Leadership teams.
Lead Forecasting, Inventory & Supply Chain Improvements
Monitor inventory performance, forecast accuracy, stock turns, and overall supply chain effectiveness.
Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
Ensure product supply and quality requirements are effectively represented within operational planning processes.
Proactively identify and address supply challenges while minimizing customer impact.
Support initiatives that improve delivery performance, inventory management, and overall cost-to-serve.
Transform Data into Business Improvements
Analyze business data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and process improvements.
Recommend and champion changes that improve business performance and operational efficiency.
Stay current on emerging technologies, analytics tools, forecasting methodologies, and industry trends.
Continuously enhance your own skills while helping the organization make smarter, data-driven decisions.
Lead Strategic Projects
Manage at least one key business project at all times while supporting additional strategic initiatives as needed.
Collaborate with global and head office analytics teams to develop insights tailored to North American markets.
Identify project risks and challenges early, proposing practical solutions.
Ensure project updates, deliverables, and communications remain accurate and timely.
Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a strong team-first approach.

What You'll Bring
Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
3+ years of experience in business analytics, forecasting, supply chain, operations, finance, or a related field.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Experience analyzing complex data and developing reports, dashboards, tables, and visualizations to support business decisions.
Key account management and customer support experience.
Strong aptitude for, or experience within, B2B animal management, agriculture, manufacturing, or related industries.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Experience with KPI reporting, forecasting, inventory analysis, and business performance metrics.
