About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced National Events Specialist to take ownership of Gallagher Security’s Australian events and webinar programme on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover), based in our Southport office on the Gold Coast.
This role is responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination and delivery of high-quality events, including conferences, seminars, networking events, trade shows and webinars, that support marketing objectives, customer engagement and sales outcomes across Australia.
You’ll manage event logistics, venue selection, supplier and vendor management, marketing communications and budget management, ensuring every event is delivered professionally, on brand and on budget. Given the fixed-term nature of this role, you’ll bring the experience and confidence needed to make an immediate impact.
You’ll collaborate closely with sales teams, marketing, partners and external suppliers to deliver engaging experiences that resonate with our audiences. You’ll also analyse post-event performance and feedback, using insights to continuously refine and improve event effectiveness and contribution to the business.
What you’ll be doing:
• Own the planning, coordination and delivery of the Australian security events and webinar programme (including internal, partner, customer and industry events)
• Manage end-to-end event execution, including timelines, logistics, design, supplier coordination and on-site delivery, ensuring a consistent and professional experience
• Plan and deliver the Security in Focus webinar programme with a rolling 12-month outlook (content coordination, speaker management, registrations and lead follow-up)
• Own event budgets, including forecasting, tracking spend and maintaining accurate records, while maximising value and commercial return
• Plan, coordinate and manage event sponsorships with technology partners and channel partners, ensuring deliverables and value are achieved
• Own event communications across owned channels (save-the-dates, invitations, agendas, confirmations, follow-ups and surveys) to maximise attendance and engagement
• Coordinate creation of high-quality event marketing materials, briefing internal resources and agencies to ensure brand-aligned delivery
• Apply and uphold Gallagher Security brand standards across all event communications, materials and experiences
• Track, analyse and report on event outcomes and ROI, using feedback and data to improve event effectiveness over time
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver seamless event experiences
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re an experienced events professional who can hit the ground running, juggle competing priorities, and deliver consistently high-quality experiences. You’re commercially minded, highly organised, and confident partnering with sales, marketing, partners and suppliers in a B2B environment.
What you’ll bring:
• 5+ years’ experience managing end-to-end event programmes (from concept and content through to delivery, evaluation and administration)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing and/or events (or equivalent experience)
• Proven ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience managing agencies, suppliers and contractors, including production timelines and deliverables
• Strong attention to detail and visual judgement, with working knowledge of print production and asset creation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with tools like EventsAir, SurveyMonkey, Stripo or Canva (and Adobe Acrobat/SAP as an advantage)
