The Opportunity
Own and evolve Gallagher’s finance systems landscape to enable accurate, timely reporting and continuous improvement. You’ll manage financial master data, support SAP ERP (with S/4HANA on the horizon), troubleshoot issues, and partner with Finance and IT to streamline processes and guide system enhancements.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of accounting, systems, and change - your work will shape the effectiveness of our global finance environment.
In this role you’ll:
- Support and continuously improve Gallagher’s finance systems across NZ and offshore entities
- Administer financial master data and provide SAP FICO support
- Capture requirements for system changes and drive process efficiencies
- Maintain data integrity, controls, and reliable reporting flows
- Contribute to the ERP replacement project (likely S/4HANA) and post-go-live support
- Deliver training and guidance to ensure effective system use

You’ll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance/IT; (CA/CIMA preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience with finance systems, ideally SAP FICO
- Strength in documenting requirements and supporting complex system changes
- Proven project management and ability to manage competing priorities
- Solid data/analytics capability and understanding of integration concepts
- Clear communicator who collaborates well and builds trust across teams
