The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our Operations Performance team. In this pivotal role, you’ll help embed a culture of operational excellence across Gallagher by identifying, leading, and supporting initiatives that drive efficiency, reduce waste, and improve business performance.
This isn’t just about cost savings - you’ll also play a key role in boosting margins, improving asset utilisation, and building scalable solutions that create long-term competitive advantage and greater customer value.
As our Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will:
- Lead and support Lean initiatives across departments, driving efficiency and unlocking margin improvements
- Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis workshops to deliver impactful change
- Develop and maintain continuous improvement frameworks and standard operating procedures that ensure sustainability and scalability
- Partner with finance, commercial teams, and senior leaders to deliver initiatives that align with strategy and improve financial outcomes
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and H&S across the business
- Build capability by coaching and training others in Lean tools and methodologies
The Fit
You’re a proactive problem solver who thrives on turning insights into action. You bring strong Lean knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to engage and influence at every level of the organisation.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S)
- A proven track record of delivering initiatives with measurable commercial impact
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Top notch change management skills
- Experience working cross-functionally and embedding sustainable change
- A commitment to embedding Quality and H&S into improvement initiatives
- An analytical and strategic mindset to connect operational excellence with financial outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in a continuous improvement or operational excellence role
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or service industries advantageous
