The Opportunity
Bring your passion for customer service, problem-solving, and strategic thinking to Gallagher as our new Customer Service and Sales Support Specialist. Based in our Riverside, Missouri (Kansas City) office, this dynamic role sits within our Operations team, supporting U.S. and North American channel partners throughout the full order and delivery lifecycle.
You’ll play a vital role in ensuring a premium experience for our customers, anticipating potential issues before they arise, connecting the dots across multiple vendors and channels, and providing proactive updates with accurate documentation. This is a role for someone who can think critically, troubleshoot complex situations, and collaborate effectively to make things run smoothly.
Your role at a glance:
- End-to-end coordination of complex sales orders and quotations across multiple regions in the U.S. and North America.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with customers on order status, delivery timelines, and potential issues.
- Collaborate closely with commercial, operations, warehouse teams, and external vendors/channel partners to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Prepare export documentation, invoicing, and credit notes as required.
- Own and resolve customer inquiries during the ticketing process, anticipating challenges and troubleshooting effectively.
- Support license renewals and assist with software maintenance contract follow-ups.
- Help drive continuous improvement in processes and systems such as SAP ERP and CRM, identifying opportunities to prevent issues before they occur.
- Provide day-to-day support to our field sales and technical teams across the U.S. and beyond.

You’ll be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and confident in connecting the dots between complex processes, vendors, and partners. If you can anticipate problems before they happen and deliver excellent customer service across multiple channels, you’ll feel right at home here.
What you’ll bring:
- 2+ years of order processing or customer support experience, ideally with complex or multi-region operations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think critically, troubleshoot, and anticipate issues before they arise.
- Familiarity with SAP R/3 or a similar ERP system.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A passion for delivering exceptional service, with a proactive approach to collaboration and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborative spirit with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as SAP CRM or Salesforce (preferred).
- Experience with software licensing, ticketing systems, or service desk processes (a plus).
- Experience working with complex or high-end products (a plus).
