The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Functional Consultant – FICO to join our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team at Gallagher. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP Finance solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practice.
You’ll collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand financial processes, translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions, and guide implementations from conception to optimisation. With your deep functional knowledge and proactive mindset, you’ll drive innovation, support strategic decision-making, and champion continuous improvement in a globally connected environment.
The Fit
You’ll be a strong fit for this role if you combine technical depth in SAP Finance with a consultative, business-focused approach. You’re confident leading end-to-end solution delivery and have a passion for unlocking business value through fit-for-purpose technology.
You’ll bring:
- 5–10 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles, with substantial SAP FICO implementation and support experience
- SAP certification and deep knowledge of SAP modules: FI, CO, TR, and FM
- Proven ability to lead and deliver Finance-related projects at enterprise scale
- Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting requirements
- Demonstrated ability to map complex business needs to best practice SAP solutions
- Experience delivering training and documentation to support solution adoption
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, problem-solving and communication skills
- A collaborative, improvement-focused mindset, with a drive to keep learning and evolving
