The Opportunity
Step into a pivotal role where your hands-on skills keep the wheels turning — as a Logistics Store Person, you’ll help drive the engine room of our operations by picking, packing, and dispatching orders with precision, alongside managing stock receipting and sub-assembly. Your work ensures Gallagher’s world-class products reach customers quickly and reliably, supporting our customer-first promise.
You’ll collaborate with a close-knit, supportive team, contribute to service level KPIs, and help keep our warehouse running like clockwork. With variety built into every day, this role is perfect for someone who takes pride in getting the details right and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
What You’ll be Doing
- Warehouse Operations: Handle sales order processing, pick and pack duties, dispatch, stock receipt, and sub-assembly tasks while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members across the Gallagher Australian team, supporting shared goals, meetings, and initiatives.
- Professional Standards: Uphold company dress code, behavior policies, confidentiality, and proper tool maintenance to ensure professional representation.
- Compliance & Performance: Ensure adherence to administrative policies and service level KPIs, completing documentation accurately and on time.
The Fit
You’ll bring a practical, team-oriented approach and thrive in an active, hands-on environment. You'll ideally have:
- A current Forklift Licence (High Risk Work Certificate)
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or logistics environment
- Basic literacy and computer skills
- Physical capability to lift and move items up to 20kgs safely
- A positive, team-player attitude with a strong work ethic
